Draw Date: January 21, 2025 at the January Board of Directors meeting. (Draw date is subject to change if all tickets are sold sooner.)

ATV Raffle Rules & Regulations

Beneficiary

All proceeds from this raffle benefit the North Carolina Bail Agents Association (NCBAA) and support its ongoing mission, training, and public safety initiatives across North Carolina.

Ticket Pricing

  • 1 Ticket: $50

  • 3 Tickets: $100

Eligibility & Purchase

  • Raffle tickets may be purchased from an NCBAA Board Member, employee/agent, or authorized volunteer.

  • Tickets may be purchased via cash, check, credit card, or debit card.

  • If a check is returned unpaid, the associated tickets will be void unless payment is received in cash before the drawing date.

  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and legal residents of the United States where raffles are permitted by law.

Drawing Information

  • The official drawing will take place on December 15, 2025.

  • The drawing may be held earlier if all tickets are sold and verified by NCBAA prior to the scheduled date.

  • Entrants do not need to be present to win.

  • Winners will be notified by NCBAA staff via phone and/or email following the drawing.

Ticket Handling

  • The ticket stub will be entered into the drawing and retained by NCBAA.

  • Entrants purchasing electronically will receive a receipt and stub number via email.

Prize Details

The raffle winner will receive a:

2025 POLARIS SPORTSMAN 450 H.O.

  • The prize is not redeemable for cash and non-transferable.

  • The winner is responsible for all taxes, registration fees, and related costs associated with the prize.

  • The winner must be legally eligible to claim and possess the prize under applicable laws.

  • The prize must be picked up in Monroe, North Carolina at a location designated by NCBAA.

  • If the winner fails to claim or pick up the prize within 30 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and become property of NCBAA.

Claiming the Prize

  • The winner must respond to NCBAA’s telephonic or written notice within 30 days of the drawing.

  • Upon claiming the prize, the winner must:

    • Verify their identity with a valid government-issued ID;

    • Complete and sign any applicable IRS forms, including IRS Form 1099 (if applicable).

  • The winner is responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes owed on the prize.

Entrant Information

  • Ticket purchasers must legibly provide their full name, phone number, and email address on each ticket stub.

  • If more than one name is listed on a ticket, only the first name listed will be recognized as the official entrant.

  • NCBAA has no obligation to divide or distribute prizes among multiple parties.

Legal & Dispute Terms

  • The raffle is void where prohibited by law.

  • NCBAA reserves the right to postpone or modify the drawing as necessary, with updates posted on the NCBAA website.

  • By purchasing a ticket, entrants release NCBAA, its directors, officers, members, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation in the raffle or use of the prize.

  • All disputes, claims, or controversies related to this raffle shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow NCBAA to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional and publicity purposes on the NCBAA website, social media, and related materials without further compensation.
